The ALLSTAR Hospice staff includes very qualified RNs, LVNs, CNAs, Social Workers, and Chaplains with 100+ years of combined experience. Each staff member brings unique and well-developed talents to the organization as well as patient care. The entire ALLSTAR Hospice staff strives to make sure that the patients and their families receive the best possible personalized hospice care.
Brenda A. Patton, RN, PCS, DCS - Executive Director/OwnerBrenda is part of a rich legacy of nursing. There have been four generations of nurses in her family. Brenda, herself, has more than 30 years of nursing experience with direct patient care as well administrative experience. During the last 10 years, she has focused her nursing and administrative skills on hospice care, long term care and community care. Brenda is also active in her church and missions work.
F. Alan Pickering, M.Div., M.A. MFT, D.Min., - Chaplain
Alan has more than 8 years of experience as a hospice chaplain. He has served approximately 3000 patients and their families during his hospice experience as well as conducted hundreds of memorials services. He regularly performs individual and group grief counseling while also providing family counseling to the community. He serves as the Director of Counseling for two Fort Worth area churches and is also very active in missions work. Dr. Pickering often speaks with civic groups and churches about hospice in addition to conducting seminars on death, dying and grief.
